Full-time English-speaking Housekeeper/Cook required for a private family in Milan, Italy. Salary €45000 – €50000 gross per annum. Live-in, start ASAP.

A lovely private family based in Milan is seeking a warm, reliable and experienced Live-in Housekeeper to join their busy household.

As a Housekeeper, your duties will include light housekeeping, keeping the home tidy and organised, preparing meals for the family when the chef is unavailable, and assisting with table service when required. You will also help with the children’s day-to-day needs, ensuring their uniforms and shoes are well maintained and assisting with packing and unpacking suitcases. ​​​​​​

The family has an established household team, including a full-time live-out housekeeper and a driver, and the successful candidate must be happy working collaboratively with the existing staff.

The role will require flexibility to support other members of staff when needed, including providing cover during sickness or annual leave. Laundry may also be required, so you should be confident with laundry care and handling clothing appropriately. The family travels, and you will be expected to accompany them when required.

The ideal candidate will be caring, responsible and discreet, with good cooking skills and previous experience working in a private household.



You must speak English and Italian, be a confident driver with a valid driving licence, and be comfortable around children. A flexible, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to travel are essential.

This is a live-in position, with a private room within the apartment provided.

The working schedule will be 5/2, with days off during the week. The working day will start at around 7 am each day.

This position is only suitable to candidates already located in Italy.
