The Facility Manager coordinates and supervises the 24x7 operations of one or more buildings. The FM will oversee the day-to-day operations ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance standards are upheld. This role will be responsible for managing facility operations, maintaining equipment and systems, and ensuring a high level of service for multiple customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management within the data center industry and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to collaborate and partner with cross functional teams within Aligned required. /p h3Duties And Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and mentor a team of facility technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. /li liEnsure conformance with all change control development, approvals, and execution. /li liAssist in the hiring, training, and management of operations personnel on site. /li liLeads the company culture via mentoring of operations personnel in career and personal development. /li liOversee all aspects of facility operations to ensure the facility operates efficiently and effectively. Support the scheduling, development and execution for all preventive maintenance, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance. /li liEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Conduct regular safety inspections and manage emergency response procedures. /li liReview and approve change requests, MOPs, SOPS, and EOPs. /li liMaintain accurate records of facility operations, maintenance activities, and customer interactions. Provide regular reports to senior management on facility performance metrics. /li liContinuous evaluation of all building systems to ensure efficient operations.



/li liEnforce safe work responsibilities and safety procedures capabilities of critical facilities employees and contractors. /li liEvaluate, assign, and monitor the maintenance, operations, and incident handling of critical facilities employees and contractors. /li liServe as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and maintaining strong relationships to enhance customer satisfaction. /li liPartner with internal departments to support sales tours, customer fit outs, customer events, sustainability safety initiatives, capital projects and audits. /li liAssist in developing, managing, and forecasting OPEX and CAPEX budget for the facility. /li liFirst responder in site escalation to emergency situations (i.e., fire, evacuation, equipment failure etc.) and customer concerns. /li liEnsure compliance with applicable codes, requisitions, government agencies and directives as relates to building operations. /li liPrimary technical resource for building specifics in all facility operational facets. Thorough understanding of deployed Aligned product infrastructure. /li liKey stakeholder in evaluating Aligned’s processes to ensure continuous improvement and innovation. /li /ul h3Supervisory Responsibilites /h3 ul liThis role will manage a team to include Leads, CFT's and FT's (hiring, time attendance, performance, and scheduling) /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMinimum five years of increased responsibility and oversight of building systems and critical facilities equipment. /li liProfessional licenses are strongly preferred (electrical and mechanical licenses) /li liAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex project documents, AutoCAD, Visio, and PDF documents. /li liAbility to project manage effectively. /li liAbility to develop installation standards and project tracking/management documents. /li liAbility to effectively respond, verbally or written, to sensitive issues, complex inquiries, or complaints. /li liRequires a high level of commitment to customer service, whether co-workers or clients. /li liRequires knowledge of all applicable rules, laws, codes, regulations, and ordinances in performing data/communications and MEP projects. /li liAbility to estimate cost of client installations and other assigned projects. Cost tracking for projects. /li liKnowledge of purchase order requests process and invoice tracking. /li liAbility to analyze and solve problems involving several options with limited information. /li liAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form and to work independently. /li liDemonstrate ability to work well under pressure with a proactive approach to unusual occurrences. /li liRequires good organizational skills,
