Company Description Saturnia Travertini Italia Srl operates one of the largest travertine quarries in Italy, specializing in the production of high-quality, fully certified stone. All products meet stringent physical and technical standards and are tested for durability, including certification for 48 cycles of frost resistance. Saturnia stone is formed through unique geological processes over millions of years, resulting in distinctive brilliant whites and deep color variations.

Role Description The Technical Team Member is a full-time, on-site role based in Manciano, supporting quarry and production operations. Key Responsibilities:

- Act as first-line onsite support for StoneCloud users across all STI functions.

•
- Drive StoneCloud rollout and adoption: user onboarding, practical training, workflow support, usage follow-up and reinforcement of agreed digital processes.

- Monitor whether required operational data is being entered correctly and consistently; identify gaps, recurring user issues and process failures and escalate them to Adrian/STC.

•
- Support PCs, tablets, printers, scanners, local network/Wi-Fi, Microsoft 365 and other approved business technology used onsite.

- Diagnose and resolve routine hardware, software, access and connectivity issues; coordinate external or central technical support when escalation is required.

- Prepare and configure user devices and support user access, permissions and standard applications in accordance with CIO policies.

•
- Maintain an onsite inventory of relevant IT equipment and basic records of incidents, devices and recurring issues.

- Collect structured user feedback on StoneCloud and other systems and communicate requirements, defects and improvement opportunities to the technology team.

- Support testing and controlled deployment of new StoneCloud functions, devices and digital processes onsite.

•
- Create or maintain simple user guides and provide refresher training where adoption or data quality is weak.

- Support the GM with local technology priorities while respecting the CIO's functional ownership of technology standards, systems and roadmap.

- Promote discipline The Technical Team Member will also interact with internal and external stakeholders to address technical inquiries and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate technical issues, interpret data, and support quality control and process optimization.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with colleagues, coordinate with suppliers and partners, and respond to technical questions clearly and professionally.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose equipment or process problems, implement corrective actions, and support day-to-day quarry and production operations.
- Relevant experience in industrial, mining, construction materials, or manufacturing environments is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems, safety regulations, and technical documentation is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Manciano, handle physical aspects of a quarry environment, and follow all health and safety procedures.
- Vocational training or a diploma in a technical field (e.g., engineering, industrial technology) is an advantage.
