Role Description:

As an Application Developer at JPoint, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that power the JANUS platform and related applications. You will work on implementing features, writing clean and efficient code, managing data access layers, and ensuring seamless integration between front-end, back-end, and external services. The role includes collaborating with data scientists and engineers to support Machine Learning workflows, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and contributing to code reviews and documentation.

This is an on-site role based in Naples, where you will work closely with the team to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly applications.

Qualifications:

- Completed Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Basic knowledge of Software Development and Programming,



with familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and front-end development concepts.
- Familiarity with software integration concepts, including APIs and communication between applications and external services.
- Basic understanding of software engineering fundamentals, such as version control (e.g., Git), testing, debugging, and CI/CD concepts.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Interest in Machine Learning and industrial engineering applications; familiarity with ML platforms or data-driven applications is a plus.
- Knowledge of Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including basic querying and data management concepts, is a plus.

This is an entry-level position, primarily intended for recent Master's graduates. No previous professional experience is required. Technical knowledge and skills will be evaluated in line with the candidate's academic background and entry-level experience. Experience gained through university projects, internships, personal projects, or research activities will be considered.
