OverviewIn this role you will be ABB’s technical design authority and primary customer liaison for quality on Critical Power projects. You’ll guide engineering deliverables, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive timely resolution of quality issues. You’ll balance technical scrutiny with commercial engagement to ensure project success. This position suits a hands-on engineer who helps scale ABB’s energy solutions while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsabilità

Serve as the primary customer contact for quality and technical issues, coordinating communications and on-site supportAct as the technical and design authority for engineering deliverables on moderate- to high-complexity projectsReview and approve designs, perform verification and peer reviews, ensuring safety, quality, contractual, and as-built documentation complianceIdentify and resolve technical challenges while communicating gaps and market needs to commercial and product managementCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing,



testing, commissioning, service, supply chain, sales, and product management to ensure project successManage multiple concurrent projects including work plans, cost estimates, RFQs, supplier evaluations, meetings, contract variations, and timely delivery of outputs

Requisiti fondamentali

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 7+ years’ experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in electrical distribution or power systemsStrong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in EnglishProficiency in MS Office and MS Teams; ability to leverage AI tools in job functionsAbility to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervisionCapability to establish and nurture partnerships with ABB Product management, engineering, and serviceAuthorized to work in the US (work authorization)Interpersonal and communication skillsCross-functional collaborationCustomer-facing mindsetElectrical distribution or power systems knowledgeDesign verification and peer review processesOn-site technical support and issue resolution
