Overview Senior Medical Director provides strategic medical and scientific leadership in Rheumatology, driving engagement with clients and bid processes. You will act as a medical director and SME across the R&D; lifecycle, shaping clinical development plans andCenter of Excellence strategy. You collaborate across the organization to optimize resources and contribute to thought leadership. This role combines senior leadership with hands-on execution in a global, client-facing setting. Responsabilità * Work independently of the therapeutic area head * Lead strategic proposal development with the proposal team * Participate as leader and SME in client bid defense meetings * Act as consultant throughout the R&D; lifecycle and clinical trials,



or as a standalone solution * Formulate clinical development plans and execute the group strategy for the Center of Excellence * Collaborate across the organization to leverage resources * Encourage involvement in thought leadership activities Requisiti fondamentali * Minimum 10 years of relevant experience * At least 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO setting * CRO background with senior strategic leadership and Rheumatology expertise * MD with training in Rheumatology and Board Certified – Rheumatology * Exceptional business knowledge to drive results and provide organizational thought leadership * Willingness to travel up to 20% (national/international) * Leadership * Strategic thinking * Cross-functional collaboration * Rheumatology clinical expertise * Clinical development planning and execution * Proposal development and client engagement
