This position reports to: Product & Process Development Manager__Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to provide customs and export control classification for ABB products, purchased third-party products, software, and raw materials. Each day, you will ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and guidelines. You will also showcase your expertise by conducting thorough research and analysis of ABB products to determine the appropriate product classification codes and standards.

The work model for the role is: will be mainly accountable for: Providing classification of products, software, and/or technologies as part of new product introduction cycle.

Managing and updating master data for products, technologies, and software, including product description, Harmonized Tariff Scheme (HTS) code, and Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN), etc., and/or supporting customs declarants with product information required for master data management and entries.

Providing guidance and support to relevant teams regarding product classification-related inquiries or issues.

Reviewing and applying relevant changes in the regulatory framework related to product classification.

Qualifications for the roleGood knowledge or high willingness to learn about ELSP products,



software and technologies that requires classificationMaster degree (5 years) in engineering fields (preferred Mechanic, Electric, Electronic, Management)Good knowledge or high willingness to learn about customs and export control regulationsGood skills in MS Office and SAP environmentWell organized and precise, diligent in data management and archiving of documentary evidence.

Business mind-set, responsiveness, and flexibility, pro-active and self-dependent.
