In this field-based role, you will combine mechanical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer focus to commission, optimize, maintain, and improve equipment throughout its lifecycle.

Your responsibilities
• Perform mechanical checkout, commissioning, and startup activities for converting roll machines

• Troubleshoot technical issues related to machinery, processes, and tools both on-site and remotely

• Execute maintenance, process checks, and quality inspections to optimize equipment performance and product quality

• Recommend spare parts, upgrades, and improvement opportunities to customers

• Deliver technical training at customer sites and in-house facilities

• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve issues and enhance technical solutions

• Ensure service activities are completed within agreed timelines while maintaining high customer satisfaction

What we expect from you




• Technical school diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience as a mechanical check-out technician in a manufacturing environment; converting industry experience is a plus
• Knowledge of MS Office 365, SAP, and 2D/3D CAD tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Structured and systematic approach to work and project execution
• Customer-focused mindset and service orientation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to quality standards and safety procedures
• Availability and willingness to travel extensively worldwide
• Professional proficiency in English and Italian
