About the Role
We are looking for an After Sales Mechanical Engineer to join the Engineering Department, supporting the After Sales & Design Service team in Bologna.



The role focuses on the preliminary engineering and feasibility phase of retrofit projects for installed machinery. The successful candidate will translate customer requests for upgrades and improvements into feasible technical concepts and reliable inputs for quotation activities, with limited involvement in detailed mechanical design.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze customer requirements for upgrades, improvements and retrofit solutions on installed machinery.
• Develop preliminary technical concepts and identify feasible mechanical solutions.
• Assess technical feasibility, constraints and risks, minimizing the need for detailed design during the preliminary phase.
• Estimate engineering effort, materials and technical complexity to support quotation preparation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and software teams to validate proposed solutions.
• Interface with internal stakeholders and, when required, customers to clarify requirements and propose
