Job Purpose

The Innovation Mechatronic Systems Engineer will work within the Innovation environment to define, develop, prototype, validate and transfer innovative mechatronic solutions for agricultural machinery. The role connects systems engineering, controls, electronics, hydraulics, software, sensors, simulation and vehicle integration to create robust technology concepts that address future platform and customer needs.

The successful candidate will collaborate with product platforms, electrical and software engineering,



simulation, test lab, precision technology, autonomy, suppliers and field validation teams to mature technologies from early concept through prototype validation and readiness for product development. Collaborations with Universities and Research Centers are expected to support the early stages of development.

Key Responsibilities

Innovation & Technology Development

• Lead and execute innovation projects focused on advanced mechatronic systems for agricultural equipment.
• Identify, assess and mature emerging technologies in automation, robotics, sensors, electrification, connectivity, artificial intelligence and machine intelligence.
• Translate customer needs and future farming workflows into system concepts, architectures and demonstrators.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps, feasibility studies and technology readiness level advancement.
