Join us and help the world’s leading organizations unlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world. /p h3YOUR ROLE /h3 pWe are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our teams in Lisbon and contribute to the delivery of high-quality solutions within the Banking and Financial Services sector. /p ul liOwn and execute end-to-end testing activities across complex backend systems and applications. /li liDesign, develop, and execute test scenarios and test cases for APIs, databases, batch processing, and business-critical workflows. /li liPerform backend validation, including database testing, data reconciliation, and batch processing verification. /li liDevelop and maintain automated test suites using Karate Framework. /li liValidate functional and non-functional requirements, including boundary and performance testing. /li liManage defects throughout the testing lifecycle and collaborate with development and business teams to ensure timely resolution. /li liContribute to CI/CD testing activities and quality gates within Azure DevOps pipelines. /li liWork closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with business requirements. /li /ul h3YOUR PROFILE /h3 ul li5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.



/li liStrong experience in Backend Testing, including API Testing, Database Validation, and Batch Processing Validation. /li liHands-on experience with test automation using Karate Framework. /li liSolid Functional and Manual Testing expertise, including test design techniques, boundary testing, test execution, and defect management. /li liStrong SQL knowledge with practical experience in joins, aggregations, subqueries, and data validation. /li liExperience working with Azure DevOps, including test management and CI/CD pipelines. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership of testing activities. /li liPrevious experience in Banking or Financial Services environments. /li liKnowledge of domains such as UTP, Credit Scoring, Loans, Risk Management, and Loan Restructuring is highly valued. /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills. /li liFluent in English, both written and spoken. /li /ul h3WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE? /h3 ul liAt Capgemini Portugal we have a flexible and dynamic work environment.
