We are looking for motivated, customer‐focused individuals who want to join our team as an Area Manager. In this role you will lead a team of hourly employees and be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will also play a key role in maintaining customer expectations to guarantee orders are delivered on time and to the correct location.Key Responsibilities

Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforceManage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promisesCollaborate with all support teams (Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources) to develop plans that meet business objectivesLift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachStand or walk for up to 12 hours during shiftsWork in environments with variable noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions (including outside loading departments)Continuously climb and descend stairs (where applicable)Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts)

Basic Qualifications

2+ years of employee and performance management experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experienceWork a flexible schedule/shift, including weekends, nights,



and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experienceExperience managing a team of 20+ employeesExperience with process improvements (Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma)Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skillsA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related fieldIndustry experience in retail, F&B;, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production, or distribution environments
