Overview In this Sales Engineer role, you blend technical expertise with sales to grow Honeywell’s automation and control solutions within Italy & Eastmed. You will nurture long-term customer relationships, understand client priorities, and translate them into tailored technical and commercial proposals. You’ll work with Account Managers to drive opportunities from qualification to order, including spot projects, while possibly taking commercial ownership for selected accounts. The role is hybrid in Italy with travel as needed, offering growth through cross-functional collaboration and market development.

Responsabilità





Grow the Honeywell business within existing accounts in collaboration with Account Managers Identify opportunities in the installed base and support account plans for growth Manage spot opportunities from qualification through quotation and order closure Coordinate internal teams to deliver customer-focused proposals Maintain accurate sales pipeline records and forecasts Support organization and follow-up of customer events, workshops, and presentations Manage commercial documentation on customer portals to ensure timely submissions

Requisiti fondamentali

Strong knowledge of process automation, control systems, and relevant digital solutions Ability to translate customer needs into technical and commercial proposals and develop business opportunities Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams Professional proficiency in Italian and English Willingness to travel across the Italy & Eastmed Branch territory 3+ years of relevant experience in engineering or related roles within industrial automation or process industries Proactive approach Customer-focused Attention to detail Process automation Control systems Digital solutions
