/p h3About The Role /h3 pThe Procurement Manager Paper Bags Italy is responsible for leading and developing the local procurement organization while driving the implementation of procurement strategies across the Italian Paper Bags operations.
Acting as a key link between Group Procurement and the local business, the role ensures effective supplier management, cost optimization, sourcing excellence and cross-functional collaboration.
The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to support business performance, operational continuity and long-term value creation.
/p h3Your Mission /h3 ul liDevelop and implement regional and local sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
/li liIdentify and deliver cost improvement initiatives while ensuring continuity of supply, quality standards and risk mitigation.
/li liLead supplier selection, negotiation and contract management activities for regional and local categories.
/li liDrive supplier performance management, including evaluation, development and continuous improvement initiatives.
/li liCollaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and other key stakeholders to support business requirements.
/li liLead the procurement budgeting process and monitor procurement-related costs and savings performance.
/li liSupport and optimize Source-to-Pay processes, driving efficiency and operational excellence.
/li liAct as the primary interface between Group Procurement and local procurement teams.
/li liLead, coach and develop the local procurement team,



fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
/li /ul h3What You'll Bring /h3 ul liDegree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field, or Business Administration (nice to have) /li liRelevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles within an industrial or manufacturing environment, combined with a strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain dynamics.
/li liStrong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, supplier, and stakeholder management skills, combined with a results-oriented mindset.
/li liExperience managing contracts, supplier relationships and cost improvement initiatives.
/li liProficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
/li liFluent Italian and English.
/li liWillingness to travel nationally and internationally (approximately 40%).
/li liStrategic and hands-on approach with the ability to lead change and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
