We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team, reporting directly to the CFO.

Your role and mission at Miramis

As Accounting Manager, you will be the point of reference for the administration and accounting of the Group’s Italian companies, ensuring robustness, accuracy and timeliness at every stage of the process. You will lead a team of up to 6 people covering accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections, coordinating their activities and supporting their professional growth. You will be responsible for the accounting close and will ensure accurate, timely figures for the CFO, the Swedish parent company and the auditors, working closely with the rest of the Finance team. Key responsibilities

Closing and financial statements

- Monthly and annual close for the 7 companies (Italian GAAP – OIC), with trial balances delivered within the first working days of the month
- Provisions, accruals and prepayments, risk provisions, invoices to be received and issued
- Preparation of the annual statutory financial statements together with the external accounting firm

Group reporting (IFRS)

- Monthly upload to the consolidation platform (AARO): mapping of Italian accounts to the group chart of accounts, IFRS 16, intercompany matching and reconciliation, depreciation




- Maintenance of account mappings and the closing manual; management of OIC/IFRS differences

Fixed assets and investments

- Fixed asset register, capex/opex classification, assets under construction, depreciation
- Reconciliation of capex with development and refurbishment projects
- Reporting by project and business unit

Tax and compliance

- Supervision of VAT settlements, F24 payments, LIPE (periodic VAT reports), Form 770 and tax returns, in coordination with the external accounting firm
- Specific compliance requirements for the agricultural company (SIAN, agricultural contributions), with the support of sector consultants

Audit and internal controls

- Operational point of contact for the audit firm: PBC lists, interim audit, hard close, external confirmations
- Written control procedures (revenue-to-cash cycle, cash handling, approvals)

Payroll (accounting side)

- Review of the payroll provider’s processing; reconciliation of personnel costs between general ledger and cost accounting

Systems

- Key user of the ERP (TeamSystem Alyante: general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets) and of its integration with hotel PMS and POS systems
- Management of ERP consultants; improvement of automation and data quality, including on Power BI
- Implementation of the approval workflow system

Team management

- Planning of activities and priorities, performance evaluation, conflict management and mentoring
