Overview In this role, you will lead Deel's global DevOps team to scale a highly available SaaS platform. You will partner with cross-functional squads to improve automation, reliability, and observability across multiple AWS environments. You'll own governance, security, cost optimization, and incident response, shaping self-service tooling and golden paths for engineers.

disaster recovery and capacity planning Build self-service tooling and golden paths so engineers can work independently within shared standards Set priorities and report to engineering leadership 2+ years managing DevOps/SRE/Platform teams ~Deep knowledge of AWS - multi-account setups, managed services (CloudFront, RDS, Elasticache) including networking (VPC, DNS, load balancing, service mesh) ~ Deep hands-on Kubernetes expertise (EKS) including cluster design, upgrades, multi-cluster operations, service mesh, Crossplane, Cluster Autoscalers, ingress controllers, network policies, RBAC, workload security and resource tuning ~ IaC experience (Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi/Crossplane) ~ CI/CD and GitOps experience (GitHub Actions/Jenkins, ArgoCD/Flux, Helm) ~ Python, Node.js or Bash scripting ~ Database and messaging experience (PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ) ~ Observability experience (Prometheus Stack, Coralogix/DataDog OpenTelemetry) ~ Security and compliance experience (SOC 2/ISO) ~ Production experience with uptime, DR and incident troubleshooting ~ Go, multi-cloud, FinOps, experience scaling teams across time zones ~ AWS multi-account administration ~ Kubernetes (EKS) cluster design and operations ~
