About the role
TestBuddy is an Italian platform that helps students prepare for university admission tests, including tests taught and taken in English. We work with teachers who record short video lessons and question walkthroughs in English. The lesson outline (structure, slides and script) is provided by us in PowerPoint: you review it, adapt it to your teaching style and record it.
The work is asynchronous and fully remote: you record, there are no live classes. Topic, length and fee are agreed in writing before each piece of work, starting with a paid pilot lesson.
What we look for
- A degree in Chemistry or a related science, and documented teaching experience (school, university or test preparation).
- Teaching fluently in English (C1 or above); experience with IMAT, BMAT, UCAT or similar admission tests is a plus.
- The habit of explaining the method, not just the result:
why the correct answer is correct and why each of the others is not.
- Technical autonomy: recording screen and voice with good quality (OBS, Zoom, Loom or similar) and a dedicated microphone, basic editing, working with shared cloud files.
- Accuracy and reliable deadlines: an explanation reaches thousands of students.
How to apply
Send your CV (PDF) and a short introduction (subjects, teaching experience, tools you use to record) to
[email protected] with the subject "Science teacher (English) – video lessons". If you already have a recorded lesson, add the link; otherwise, a 3-5 minute video explaining a chemistry question of your choice is the quickest way to show us how you teach.
