This role will be responsible for leading Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities on site, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and promoting a strong safety culture across the project.Lead and manage all Environmental, Health & Safety activities across the project lifecycleDevelop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and systems in line with company and legal requirementsPromote a strong safety culture and ensure high standards of health & safety are maintained on siteConduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazardsCoordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on EHS practicesMonitor subcontractor compliance with health & safety requirements and standardsEnsure all safety documentation, including method statements and risk assessments (RAMS), are reviewed and approvedLead incident investigations, reporting, and implementation of corrective actionsDeliver safety inductions,



toolbox talks, and training sessions to site personnelMaintain accurate records of incidents, audits, and safety performance metricsAttend Site Meetings, Safety Meetings, and Project ReviewsPrepare and issue EHS reports to senior management and stakeholdersEnsure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability requirementsProactively identify and resolve EHS issues and drive continuous improvement initiativesSkills & QualificationsDegree or diploma in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or similar disciplineMinimum 7–10 years’ experience in an EHS role within construction or engineeringStrong knowledge of health & safety legislation, standards, and best practicesExperience managing EHS on large-scale construction projectsExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesRelevant certifications (e.G., NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent) are essentialAbility to influence and drive a positive safety culture across all levels of the organisationData centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageousWork with a market leader in the Data centre Construction industry.Be part of a forward-thinking team delivering critical infrastructure in a high-growth sector. xysqume Long-term carer progression opportunities and professional development support.Competitive salary packageWinthrop Technologies Ltd. is an equal opportunities employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
