Purpose of the Role Provide expertise in terms of conducting preventive maintenance, repairing all electrical equipment, and ensuring delivery of the required time, uptime, and reliable performance consistent with the facility's design.
Ensure the capability and good working condition of the machines and equipment.
Ensure that the safety, health, and environment policies and practices are followed within the area of responsibility at all times.
Serve as the company's designated Technical Safety Representative and engineering focal point during statutory plant audits.
Statutory mandate of this role is to partner directly with DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) and PEZA (Philippine Economic Zone Authority) technical safety inspectors to evaluate facility infrastructure, verify strict alignment with the Philippines electrical regulatory bodies, and execute all necessary engineering requirements to secure and maintain the MPMI plant's Certificate of Electrical Inspection (CEI) to legally obtain the plant's Permit to Operate.
