The PORTS team designs and develops simulation-based training devices/systems for the US Surface Navy to train sailors on the operation and employment of their combat, weapon, and sensor systems. You will be part of a team of professionals who work closely together to deliver high quality products and services to our customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: /p pIn this role, you will: /p ul liOversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team /li liReview status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports. /li liPrepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements. /li liAdhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules /li liAttend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status /li liAssess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives /li liParticipate in proposal activities for new projects /li /ul pTo be successful in this role, you will have: /p ul liBe a US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance. /li liHave a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management /li liHave a minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss /li liBe familiar with software development projects /li liHave solid experience using Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject) /li liTravel up to 10% /li /ul pAdditional Desired experience and skills: /p ul liPrevious experience managing software development projects or HW/SW delivery and installation type projects /li liExperience with navy simulation and training systems /li liPrior Surface Navy experience with either Aegis, SSDS or LCS combat systems /li liCurrent Secret clearance /li liExperience managing Government Contracts /li liExperience developing small to large proposals for Development or Sustainment type programs. /li liExperience presenting project performance to upper management and customers /li liExperience with AS9100/ISO9001, CMMI,
