The primary objective of the role is to prevent accidents and incidents, fostering a proactive safety culture and supporting continuous improvement across all operations. /p h3Job Scope / Dimensions /h3 pThis position is part of the Performance Minerals EMEA Business Area, which encompasses: /p ul lib80 sites /b across b24 countries /b /li li3,700 employees /li li€1.2 billion revenue /li /ul pThe Italy Denmark Hub includes: /p ul lib8 factories /b, b4 open-pit operations /b, b1 underground mine /b, and b1 logistics platform /b /li liApproximately 300 employees /li li€100 million sales /li /ul h3Key Tasks and Responsibilities /h3 ul liAct as the EHS lead for the Hub, partnering with the Hub Director to ensure compliance, excellence, and alignment with corporate objectives. /li liDefine and prioritize EHS annual objectives in line with the Business Area roadmap and the Imerys Safety System. /li liPromote and embed a strong safety culture across all Hub sites. /li liDrive continuous improvement by supporting sites in risk prevention and the implementation of improvement action plans. /li liLead the accident management process, ensuring timely reporting, root cause analysis, and definition of corrective actions in collaboration with site and local EHS managers.



/li liEnsure compliance of industrial and mining operations with local environmental regulations, CSRD requirements, and Imerys internal standards through regular assessments and gap analyses. /li liCollaborate with Hub Operations Managers, Site Managers, and on-site EHS teams to deploy initiatives and provide guidance on EHS-related CapEx. /li liFoster proactive networking and knowledge sharing of best practices across the Hub. /li liMaintain close coordination with Hub Managers, Business Area EHS Managers, Site Managers, and local EHS contacts for program deployment and performance alignment. /li liMay act as EHS Manager for the Hub's lead site when required. /li /ul h3Ideal Background / Experience /h3 ul liEngineering degree or equivalent qualification /li liStrong command of English and Italian (knowledge of Danish is a plus) /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in EHS management within industrial operations /li liProven track record managing multiple sites and driving a safety culture /li /ul h3Key Competencies /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of bSafety Management Systems /b and industrial operations /li liIn-depth understanding of blocal and industrial EHS regulations /b /li libEngaged, self-driven, pragmatic, /b and bresults-oriented /b approach /li libStructured /b and analytical working style with effective problem-solving skills /li liExcellent communication skills, capable of engaging with employees at all levels - from shop floor to senior management - as well as with contractors, consultants, and authorities /li liAbility to binfluence, coach, create synergies /b, and blead cross-site programs and projects /b /li liContinuous improvement mindset and commitment to excellence /li liWillingness and ability to travel up to b50% /b of the time across Italy and Denmark. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
