At ORiS, we design laser-based systems to transmit power in space.
Location: Turin, Italy (hybrid)
What you will do:
- Develop real-time control systems (PID, modeling, state estimation)
- Work on laser pointing and tracking systems
- Integrate software with sensors, electronics, and hardware
- Contribute from simulation to lab testing to deployment
Requirements:
- Strong background in control systems
- Experience with embedded firmware (C/C++, real-time systems)
- Sensor integration and signal processing knowledge
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Nice to have:
- ROS, MATLAB/Simulink
- Motor control (BLDC, stepper, servo)
- Python (tracking, vision)
- Robotics / aerospace experience
Salary range: € 40k – € 60k
