Overview

In this role you will work within the Engineering Department to translate customer upgrade requests into feasible retrofit concepts for installed machinery. You’ll operate mainly in the feasibility and preliminary engineering phase, providing inputs for quotations and coordinating with mechanical, electrical and software teams. You will contribute to delivering reliable solutions while limiting detailed design work at this stage. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape upgrade projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams, aligning technical feasibility with customer needs.

Responsabilità

- Analyze customer requirements for upgrades, improvements and retrofit solutions on installed machinery
- Develop preliminary technical concepts and identify feasible mechanical solutions
- Assess feasibility, constraints and risks to minimize detailed design in the preliminary phase
- Estimate engineering effort, materials and technical complexity to support quotation preparation
- Collaborate with mechanical,



electrical and software teams to validate proposed solutions
- Interface with internal stakeholders and customers to clarify requirements and proposed solutions
- Provide technical inputs required for the subsequent detailed design phase

Requisiti fondamentali

- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years experience in feasibility studies, preliminary engineering, technical quotations or retrofit projects
- Solid knowledge of mechanical design principles and industrial machinery
- Knowledge of 3D CAD systems; CREO experience is preferred
- Professional working knowledge of English
- Curiosity and creativity in problem-solving; ability to think outside the box
- Capability to balance innovation with technical feasibility and risk awareness
- Results-oriented mindset with strong ownership
