Overview

In this role you ensure high-quality financial closing for assigned entities within Kering’s Italy Finance Shared Services. You’ll focus on month-end activities, balance sheet control, and reporting accuracy, driving timely, compliant financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support audits, improve processes, and leverage SAP to boost efficiency. Responsabilità

- Manage day-to-day accounting and close activities: journal entries, accruals, provisions, adjustments
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare compliant statutory financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP with variance analysis
- Support internal and external audits with organized documentation and clear explanations
- Monitor accounting issues and escalate risks in a timely manner




- Ensure adherence to internal controls and strengthen control awareness
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on open items
- Drive process improvements and digitalization within the R2R cycle, leveraging SAP (FICO)
- Participate in cross-functional finance projects including system enhancements and new accounting standards implementations
- Assist with integration of new business activities

Requisiti fondamentali

- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience with a focus on GL Accounting
- Experience with month-end and year-end closings, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Experience in shared services or complex matrix organizations
- Experience using ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred
- Good understanding of retail lease accounting (IFRS16) and retail business in general
- Full proficiency in English and Italian (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills
