About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, results driven Active Sales Manager to generate new business and grow account production for Hampton by Hilton Venice Isola Nuova, with a primary focus on Corporate, MICE and Business Travel.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will find, develop and convert new revenue opportunities, build long-term client relationships and turn qualified prospects into producing accounts, in line with the hotel’s commercial strategy.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role built around proactive sales. Routine reservation administration and day-to-day handling of incoming enquiries are covered by the reservations and reactive sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Proactively identify, prospect and acquire new corporate, MICE and business travel accounts, converting qualified leads into contracted and producing business;
• Build and develop relationships with TMCs, business travel agencies, corporate companies, meeting planners, event organizers, DMCs and other key demand generators;
• Run regular sales calls, client meetings, presentations,



site inspections and networking activities;
• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of corporate and MICE accounts, increasing production and market share with key decision-makers;
• Negotiate corporate rates and commercial agreements within the hotel’s pricing strategy, take part in RFP processes and support annual corporate contracting;
• Keep a structured, measurable sales pipeline, with every activity, opportunity and follow-up accurately recorded in CRM, and report regularly to the Head of Sales;
• Monitor the market, competitors, new businesses, projects and events that may generate accommodation or meeting demand, and represent the hotel at selected trade events and workshops;
• Work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Reservations and Events on pricing opportunities and periods of need, and make sure confirmed business is handed over smoothly;

Qualifications
• 3 years of hotel sales
