About the role
Event BDR places vetted business development reps directly onto exhibition floors, so companies exhibiting at a major show capture the leads a single stand could never reach on its own.

We are building our Rome rep pool for upcoming events. This is not a desk job and not a cold-calling role. You work the floor in person while the event is live: open conversations, qualify interest, capture leads, book meetings. It is freelance and flexible. Get vetted once, pick the events you want to work, get paid on what you deliver.

What you will do
• Work the exhibition floor to identify and approach relevant prospects, partners and investors
• Open conversations, qualify interest, and represent the client you are deployed for professionally
• Capture accurate lead details in the Event BDR app in real time
• Book qualified meetings, or walk prospects to the client’s stand for a live introduction




• Bridge language gaps so conversations keep moving toward a decision
• Report your activity through the platform as the event runs

What we are looking for
• Based in Rome, or able to work Rome events
• Background in sales, business development, lead generation or events. SDR or BDR experience ideal
• A technology background, or genuine comfort discussing technology products and solutions, preferred
• Confident opening conversations with strangers and holding a clear, professional pitch
• Fluent Italian and fluent English, both required
• Self-motivated, presentable, and comfortable moving through a busy floor all day
• A smartphone to run the Event BDR app on-site

Compensation
Freelance, per engagement: a day rate plus per-lead and per-meeting earnings. The more you capture and book, the more you earn.
