Let's See Italy is a Rome based tour operator running guided Colosseum, Vatican and food experiences for more than 8 years.

The role

As Operations Manager you run everything that happens on day to day operations. You lead the teams that deliver our tours: guides, meeting point, ticketing, customer service, booking systems and the office. You report directly to the CEO and are the first point of escalation, so day-to-day issues are solved by you and your team.

What you will do

- Lead a team of around 10 staff and 20+ tour guides, from the office
- Manage the Guide Operations Manager, Customer Experience Manager, Ticketing Lead, People & Office Coordinator and Systems Lead
- Make sure every tour runs with the right tickets, guide and meeting point, every day
- Handle incidents, complaints and escalations, and fix their root causes
- Write and enforce standard operating procedures for ticketing, guide allocation, refunds and incidents
- Run the weekly operations meeting and a Monday KPI report for the CEO
- Oversee the move to a new booking platform and website in early 2027
- Drive our public reviews
- Control operating costs per guest and refund rates
- Build a professional, office-based team culture with clear roles and regular reviews
- Hire and train new staff

What we are looking for

- 3+ years managing operations in tours, travel, hospitality in Rome
- Experience leading teams of 10+ people, including freelancers or remote staff
- Fluent English; working Italian for suppliers, ticket offices and local staff
- Comfortable with booking systems (Rezdy, Ventrata, Bokun or similar) and OTAs
- Organised and numerate: you run operations from data and spreadsheets
- Calm under pressure during peak season
- Eligible to work in Italy

Nice to have

- Experience in Rome's tourism sector or with Colosseum or Vatican ticketing
- Additional languages (Spanish, French, German or Portuguese)
- Experience setting up processes in a growing company
