JOB DESCRIPTIONTo support its growth and strengthen its in-house legal team, Aether is seeking a Legal Counsel with 2 to 3 years' experience to join its Milan office on a permanent contract.
Working closely with the operational teams, you will handle the legal issues that arise during the set-up and throughout the life of the financial transactions in which Aether acts as agent.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Managing the day-to-day legal affairs of Aether's operations, liaising with internal stakeholders (operational teams, management) and external parties (banks, law firms, investors, clients);
Reviewing, analysing,



drafting and negotiating financing and security documents for transactions in which Aether Financial Services acts as agent;
Managing and monitoring the processes for general meetings of holders of financial instruments;
Contributing to legal and regulatory analysis of Aether' activities, monitoring developments in these areas and reporting findings and identified issues to your line manager;
Handling corporate matters for Aether Financial Services, including company secretarial work;
Taking part in cross-functional projects across the company.
These responsibilities may evolve as Aether's activities develop.
YOUR PROFILEExpertiseA Master's degree in banking and/or financial law;
At least 2 years' experience in specialist law firms (LBO, infrastructure or structured finance, capital markets), banks (agency), advisory firms (corporate finance, debt advisory) or investment firms (debt funds);
Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Fluency in English, Italian or Spanish;
Any additional language would be an advantage.
