We are looking to grow our team of passionate Software, Data, and Machine Learning Engineers who are excited about using data and software to ensure the safety, transparency, and integrity of the global food chain, one client and product at a time.Position SummaryThe Senior Systems Engineer serves as a senior technical resource within the Corporate Information Technology team, responsible for the design, implementation, support, and continual improvement of enterprise technology platforms. This role acts as a technical escalation point, leads strategic infrastructure and security projects, mentors other engineers, and drives operational excellence across global IT services.The successful candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership skills, project management capabilities, and a commitment to improving systems, processes, and team effectiveness. This position plays a critical role in maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable technology services while supporting business growth and cybersecurity initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSystems Engineering & Technical LeadershipDesign, implement, maintain,



and optimize enterprise infrastructure and cloud servicesServe as a senior technical escalation point for complex incidents and operational issuesLead troubleshooting efforts across infrastructure, endpoint management, Microsoft 365, identity, security, networking, and related technologiesEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance security, performance, and efficiency.Project DeliveryLead and deliver strategic IT projects from planning through implementationCoordinate technology migrations, platform upgrades, and security improvement initiativesSupport cross-functional projects led by other engineers and business stakeholdersEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.Security & Operational ExcellenceDrive initiatives that improve the organization's security postureSupport endpoint management, identity management, patching, monitoring, and compliance effortsCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain security controls and best practicesIdentify and implement operational improvements that increase efficiency and reliability.Mentoring & Team DevelopmentProvide technical mentorship and guidance to Systems Engineers and support personnelShare knowledge through documentation, training sessions, and knowledge articlesAssist in developing technical standards, procedures, and best practicesFoster a culture of continuous learning and accountability.Process OwnershipTake ownership of key IT processes and ensure they are documented, maintained, and continuously improvedDevelop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational proceduresParticipate in change management, incident management,
