Telecom Commissioning Engineer – Oil & Gas / Energy | Livorno

Telecom Commissioning Engineer responsible for supervising the commissioning and integration of industrial telecommunication systems at an Oil & Gas facility.

1. Your Role
• Supervise and coordinate the Telecom System Integrator.
• Work closely with the Project Commissioning Manager and the Client.
• Support the testing, integration and handover of telecom systems.

2. Your Responsibilities
• Monitor the System Integrator’s activities, progress, schedule and milestones.
• Commission and test PAGA, telephony, TETRA radio, CCTV and access control systems.
• Review procedures, test plans, checklists and reports; follow up FAT, SAT and integrated system tests.
• Manage punch lists, technical issues, system integration, final acceptance and handover.

3. Requirements
• Degree or technical diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics,



Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Telecom Commissioning Engineer, Field Engineer or Site Engineer in industrial projects.
• Experience supervising System Integrators and subcontractors, preferably in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, energy or complex industrial projects.
• Knowledge of HSE requirements, permit-to-work systems and industrial telecom systems; good written and spoken English.

4. What We Offer
• Full-time schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
• On-site assignment in Livorno.
• Contract type and remuneration package to be defined according to experience.
