Role & responsibilities Desktop L1- Roles and Responsibilities : * Installation and Configuration of OS on laptops & Desktops.. * Ticketing tool (Service Request portal) knowledge and its functionality. * Configure desktop and laptop as per the desktop/laptop standardization policies * Installation and Configuration of MS office Troubleshooting issues related to standard office softwares (MS Office Word, xls, PowerPoint etc.). * Installation / re-installation / configuration of in-scope client software / applications and Other applicable business Softwares. * IMAC submission for allocation and deallocation of devices * Isolate system issues; diagnose standard software issues and report hardware issues to respective Vendors. * Installation/Troubleshooting/re-installation/configuration of systems, printers, scanners. Troubleshoot print queue related issues. * Configure appropriate rights and permissions for accessing printers.



* Configure Print Queues for Servers / Users / Groups. * Troubleshooting of critical network issues for end users. * Support for local area network issues (LAN), DHCP client. * Configuration of IP addresses in PCs and adding the same to VLANs (As applicable). * Installation / configuration of e-mail clients. * Performing user data recovery as applicable. * Installation and Configuration of Anti-Virus Software. * Install approved OS patches onto desktops / laptops. * Remove virus from respective desktop / laptop with the antivirus software. * Troubleshooting of critical Desktops & Laptop hardware problems. * Raising tickets with coordination with vendor for hardware related issues and follow up until closure. * Pick up the assigned service request & tickets and work until closure #J-18808-Ljbffr
