We're looking for a Master Diesel Mechanic who takes ownership of that standard.The RoleYou'll be the lead technical authority for our motorcoach fleet, primarily MCI and Temsa coaches.
You'll diagnose and repair heavy diesel systems, run our preventive maintenance program, keep us DOT-compliant, and mentor other technicians.
You'll also support the rest of our fleet as needed.What You'll DoDiagnose and repair MCI and Temsa motorcoaches: diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit Diesel), Allison and ZF transmissions, drivetrain, and axlesService air brake, air suspension, ABS, and steering systemsTroubleshoot multiplexed electrical systems, aftertreatment (DPF/SCR/DEF), and engine controls using OEM diagnostic softwareMaintain coach HVAC, wheelchair lifts, and passenger comfort systemsPerform DOT annual inspections and brake inspections, and prepare coaches for state and federal inspectionsBuild and run preventive maintenance schedules to cut downtime and roadside failuresManage warranty claims and work with MCI, Temsa, and OEM dealers and parts suppliersRoad-test coaches after repairsKeep accurate work orders, parts usage,
