**MBDA Italia is the Italian company that is part of the multinational MBDA group, a world leader in the missile systems sector.** **MBDA represents the leading European Group with production and design capabilities capable of covering the entire range corresponding to the current and future needs of the armed forces (land, air and sea).** Within the "Programmes" Directorate, MBDA Italia SpA is looking for a "**Quality Assurance Practitioner**". **Required educational qualification**: * Master's degree (specialist) in Engineering or equivalent title **Professional experience**: * Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in the development and management of complex equipment (integrated HW, FW, SW electronic devices), preferably in the Defense sector (experience in Quality management roles and/or complex systems management) **Activities foreseen for the role**: The selected resource will be responsible for the following activities: * Support the project team on Quality aspects, ensuring the correct application of the Quality Plan and company processes throughout the entire product development cycle (including transition to Production). * Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate Quality risks and problems that may jeopardize product Quality and Program milestones. * Acceptance of make & buy development products under the responsibility of the project team. * Support the project team in product Configuration Management (participation in CCBs, approval of Change Notices). * Support the project team in implementing the Non-Conformity Management Process according to Project Plans. * Support preparation and participation in Design Reviews and PLC Product Gates.



Monitoring the status of recommendations/actions arising. * Support preparation of audit/assessment of Quality on products/processes. Monitoring process metrics (KPIs) identifying and implementing suitable corrective actions. * Verification and approval of documentation constituting the project definition dossier (Technical Data Package). * Contribute to internal monthly QA reporting for the Quality Function and to the Program for the supported activities/projects. * Verify the correct implementation of Supplier Quality Requirements in accordance with the Project QAR (Quality Assurance Requirements). * Availability for short business trips nationally and abroad to suppliers and customer sites (where foreseen). **Professional Skills**: * Good knowledge of the main company tools for project documentation management and Non-Conformity management (PLM MatriX, SAP, DRM) * Good knowledge and use of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for the development and management of metrics and indicators * Knowledge, preferably acquired in quality and/or technical-managerial fields, of the products developed by the company * Good knowledge of the main company development and Product management processes * Knowledge of Quality Standards EN9100 and/or ISO9001 (knowledge of quality methodologies – e.g. Lean 6 Sigma, 8D – will be a preferential title) **Language skills**: * Good knowledge of the English language (written, spoken, read and understood) **Organizational skills/Soft skills**: * Results orientation and priority management * Attention to detail and ability to synthesize * Adaptability, determination, and resilience * Proactivity * Good communication, interpersonal, Team Building skills and structured conflict management * Ability to work in national/international teams
