# Internship - Sustainability technician **Posting Date:** 19 Oct 2026 **City:** Genova **Location:** Genova, Italy, 16128 **Contract Type:** Internship **Division:** Certification Market Development **Level of experience:** Intern RINA is currently recruiting for a **Internship - Sustainability technician** to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Certification Market Development Division. ## **Mission** RINA is looking for a **Sustainability Technician Intern** for its office in Genoa.The ideal candidate will collaborate with the existing team, supporting the assessment and management of the impacts of the **EmpCo Directive**, as well as the development of related services and strategies. #LI-MP3 ## **Main Tasks** The training will focus on: * Study regulations, market trends, standards and certification schemes related to sustainability. * Map sustainability-related activities and services across RINA. * Support the development of common conformity assessment schemes and methodologies in line with the EmpCo Directive. * Participate in technical and commercial meetings, training courses, audits and projects to understand the specific needs of clients, applicants and colleagues from other operational units. ## **Experience** * Good written and spoken English. * Fluent written and spoken Italian is mandatory. * Good knowledge of the main Microsoft Office applications, including **MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint**. ## **Education** **Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree,
