About the rolewe are looking for a senior internal auditor in milan with 5+ years of experience, to join euronext's group internal audit team. the role is full-time, based in milan and reports to the group head of internal audit in paris.main responsibilitieslead audit assignments with a risk-based approach, focusing on areas that may hinder organisational objectives.plan, execute and supervise audit engagements, including team coordination and communication with stakeholders.develop and execute risk-based audit programs and testing procedures.identify discrepancies, provide recommendations for risk reduction and process improvements.prepare high-quality audit reports for the audit committee,



boards and senior management.contribute to the recommendation follow-up process and liaise with management on implementation progress.support the annual risk assessment and internal audit planning process.ensure audit activities follow applicable standards and are documented in the internal audit tool.participate in internal audit reporting, communication activities and continuous improvement initiatives.who are we looking forat least five years of relevant audit experience, preferably in the financial sector.bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent).excellent analytical skills to identify key risks and issues.strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.proven ability to work proactively, take ownership and maintain focus under pressure.fluency in written and spoken english.additional informationgross annual salary: €50,000 - €60,000. full-time position. we encourage applicants of all genders, backgrounds, ethnicities and abilities.
