The Opportunity We are seeking a commercially driven, well-connected Private Events & Business Development Manager to grow our private events business. This is a hands-on role spanning lead generation, relationship building, sales conversion and flawless coordination from first inquiry to event handover and follow-up. What You Will Do
* Lead & Inquiries Management: Own and promptly manage inbound event inquiries, qualification, follow-up, proposals and commercial negotiations.
* Site Inspections: Conduct compelling venue tours and site inspections for clients, agencies, planners and corporate partners.
* Market Development: Develop luxury destination weddings, private celebrations, corporate retreats, incentive events, product launches and brand activations.
* Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with international wedding planners, DMCs, luxury travel advisors, concierge networks, event agencies and premium brands.
* Networking & Fairs: Identify and attend relevant trade fairs, workshops, B2B events and networking opportunities; represent Maya and convert contacts into qualified business.
* Concept & Package Design: Create tailored event concepts and packages in collaboration with the hotels, beach club,



restaurants and operations teams.
* Sales Operations: Manage the sales pipeline, CRM, forecasts, conversion rates and post-event client relationships.
* Execution & Quality Control: Coordinate execution with internal department heads and external suppliers, ensuring exceptional client experience and commercial results. What We Are Looking For
* Proven experience in luxury events sales, destination weddings, venue business development, MICE or premium brand partnerships.
* An established network of wedding planners, corporate agencies, luxury concierge or international event buyers.
* Strong sales, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
* Excellent organization, responsiveness, attention to detail and ownership of the entire client journey.
* Experience with site inspections, tailored proposals, event budgets and complex stakeholder coordination.
* Fluent Italian and English; international outlook and willingness to travel to industry events. * Gestione Richieste & Trattative: Gestire in modo tempestivo e strutturato le richieste in entrata: qualificazione dei lead, follow-up, redazione di proposte su misura e negoziazioni commerciali.
* Site Inspection: Condurre site inspection e visite della location di alto impatto per clienti finali, agenzie, wedding planner e corporate partner.
* Sviluppo Segmenti di Mercato: Sviluppare il segmento luxury destination weddings, celebrazioni private, retreat aziendali, incentive, lanci di prodotto e brand activation.
* Relazioni Strategiche: Costruire e consolidare relazioni strategiche con wedding planner internazionali, DMC, luxury travel
