Our client is an industrial company backed by a private equity fund. The Group operates primarily by selling products to other distributors.

The aim of this assignment is to introduce a more centralised Pricing model in Italy, with greater oversight of pricing decisions and the rules governing their implementation.

The Pricing Manager will contribute to building a structured pricing function, combining strategic, analytical and operational expertise.

Key responsibilities will include

- Defining and implementing a pricing strategy aligned with profitability targets.
- Analysing purchase prices, selling prices and margins by product, customer and distribution channel.
- Identifying anomalies, inconsistencies and opportunities to improve profitability.
- Defining pricing rules, parameters and criteria.




- Centralising and strengthening control over pricing decisions.
- Translating the pricing strategy into operational processes and ensuring the correct application of pricing rules.
- Working directly in SAP R/3 to analyse data and, where necessary, implement changes to prices and related parameters.

Requirements:
- Pricing strategy: Ability to define pricing policies, analyse profitability and identify appropriate price points.
- Revenue management and margin analysis: Experience in B2B and/or B2C distribution within industrial, consumer goods or retail environments (including e-commerce), where pricing is dynamic and commercially significant, requiring a solid understanding of purchasing and selling dynamics.
- Operational and IT skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP R/3 and the ability to directly manage and implement changes to pricing processes and data.
- Immediately available for an interim assignment

Following the completion of the interim management assignment, there may be an opportunity to continue the collaboration on a long-term basis through direct employment.
