Overview

In this role, you will assess and strengthen the security of TheFork’s applications and systems. You’ll work within a security team to identify vulnerabilities, guide developers, and implement new security requirements in a fast-paced environment. You will focus on securing web apps and cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS, while staying current on threats and OWASP best practices. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a meaningful impact on product security and trust.

Responsabilità

- Scan TheFork web applications for vulnerabilities and ensure fixes
- Provide technical guidance to developers on security requirements
- Research and respond to new security threats and exploit techniques




- Evaluate security posture of applications and systems
- Operate in a team while maintaining confidentiality of investigations
- Apply OWASP concepts across solutions

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science (or equivalent)
- 4+ years of manual security testing
- Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication and authorization
- Experience implementing security technologies and processes in a hybrid cloud (AWS)
- Strong IT operations and service support knowledge
- Knowledge of OWASP concepts
