Electrical Site Supervisor | Italy

Salary: €60,000–€80,000 gross per annum + benefits, depending on experience

I'm currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join a major construction project in Italy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrical professional with strong site leadership experience to take ownership of electrical installation activities, lead trade teams and ensure works are delivered safely to specification and in line with the project programme.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Construction Manager and wider project team, coordinating electrical works, managing resources and maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation activities, leading direct labour and subcontractor teams on site.
- Plan and monitor work activities, developing two-week look-ahead programmes and coordinating with other trades to maintain project progress.
- Review construction drawings, specifications and installation scopes to ensure works are delivered correctly and efficiently.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with project specifications, inspection and test plans, and quality requirements.
- Maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring risk assessments, method statements, permits and safe systems of work are implemented and followed.
- Monitor installation progress, identify potential delays and resolve site issues, escalating where necessary.
- Coordinate materials, equipment and deliveries to ensure resources are available when required.
- Carry out regular quality inspections, manage snagging activities and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily labour reports, progress updates, quality documentation and red-line drawings.
- Deliver toolbox talks,



communicate project priorities and ensure all operatives are appropriately trained and briefed.
- Work closely with the Construction Manager and other trades to ensure electrical works are completed in preparation for testing and commissioning.

Requirements:

- Senior electrical trade qualification or equivalent technical background.
- Minimum of 5 years' site experience within pharmaceutical, medical device, commercial, industrial or data centre construction projects.
- Proven experience supervising electrical installation teams and coordinating subcontractors.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of site planning, construction sequencing and coordination between trades.
- Experience with materials procurement, delivery schedules and installation planning.
- Good knowledge of construction health and safety procedures, RAMS and quality control processes.
- Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Commercial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate site documentation.
- A proactive, decisive and results-driven approach, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
