Offshore Pipeline Engineer – Construction & Installation ? 1. Your Role
• Supervise offshore pipeline construction and installation activities within major Oil & Gas projects.
• Coordinate offshore pipelay operations using S-Lay and J-Lay installation methods.
• Monitor pipeline manufacturing and installation activities, with particular focus on CRA (Corrosion Resistant Alloys) technologies.
• Act as the technical interface between EPC/EPCI contractors, engineering teams and offshore personnel, ensuring compliance with project specifications. ?️ 2. Your Responsibilities
• Supervise offshore pipelay, subsea tie-ins, riser installation and trenching operations, including seabed intervention activities.
• Verify welding procedures, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT/AUT) and Field Joint Coating (FJC) activities, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
• Oversee the manufacturing and installation of CRA, MLP, HRB and Weld Overlay (WOL) pipelines, reviewing technical documentation and installation methodologies.
• Supervise pre-commissioning activities, including hydrotesting, cleaning, gauging and dewatering, ensuring proper reporting and as-built documentation. ? 3. Your Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Marine, Civil or Pipeline Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry,



including a minimum of 7 years in offshore pipeline construction and installation.
• Strong technical knowledge of S-Lay/J-Lay operations, trenching methodologies, offshore welding, NDT/AUT and CRA pipeline technologies.
• Proven experience in offshore construction supervision, contractor management and technical documentation review, with excellent written and spoken English. ? 4.

The salary range for this position is €50,000–€60,000 gross per year. The position falls under the Italian National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce and Tertiary Services, as applied by our company. The salary offered within this range will be determined based on technical skills, relevant professional experience, and the outcome of the selection process, in accordance with objective and neutral criteria. For candidates with exceptional qualifications exceeding the stated range, a salary adjustment may be considered, subject to prior internal approval.
