This is with a well-established global fintech bank, for their Spain branch, and it’s a proper regulatory appointment subject to SEPBLAC approval. You’d be the central contact with SEPBLAC, the Bank of Spain and local law enforcement, owning AML/CTF compliance for the Spain entity from the ground up, including validating the risk classification, filing SARs to the FIU, and reviewing PEPs and high risk customers.
Beyond the day to day, you’d have real visibility across the wider group too, sitting on the FinCrime Committee, feeding into new product approvals, and running AML/CTF awareness training across the business. It’s a mostly remote setup,
so it suits someone who’s comfortable owning the mandate independently while staying properly plugged into group compliance.

- Fluent in both Spanish and English
- Comfortable being named as MLRO and going through SEPBLAC approval
