Overview

In this role you lead the HSE design activities for international oil & gas projects, embedding health, safety and environmental aspects across the engineering lifecycle. You act as the technical authority on HSE design, coordinating interfaces and guiding compliant safety solutions for complex facilities. You will drive major HSE studies and ensure integrated deliverables across disciplines, partnering with cross-functional teams to mitigate risk. This position offers the chance to shape safety design at scale and influence project outcomes. You will work in a multicultural, international environment and report to project leadership.

Responsabilità

- Lead and coordinate all HSE engineering and design activities for projects to meet objectives, schedules, and quality
- Serve as the primary technical authority for HSE design within the project organization
- Plan, facilitate and supervise major HSE studies (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, Fire & Explosion Risk Assessments, F&G; Mapping, Escape/Rescue, QRA, RAM, SIMOPS)




- Review and approve HSE deliverables from internal and external sources (HazOp, SIL, Fire Protection layouts, Hazardous Area Classifications, etc.)
- Ensure HSE requirements are integrated across Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Civil disciplines
- Participate in project reviews and management meetings, proactively identifying risks and suggesting mitigations

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Safety, Environmental Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of HSE engineering experience in Oil & Gas
- Experience in multicultural and international project environments
- Strong understanding of process safety principles and risk-based design approaches
- Very good English (written and spoken)
