You will act as the main contact for Customs Authorities and provide expert guidance on trade compliance. This role reports hierarchically to the Chief Operations Officer and functionally to the Global Tax Director. /ph3As a Global Customs Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for: /h3ulliEnsuring full compliance with customs regulations for all import/export operations, including tariff classification, origin determination, valuation, and recordkeeping. /liliDeveloping, implementing, and maintaining trade compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls to meet regulatory requirements. /liliMonitoring regulatory changes related to tariffs, duties, and trade restrictions; communicating updates effectively across departments. /liliManaging customs audits and maintaining comprehensive documentation for customs and VAT compliance. /liliCollaborating cross-functionally, particularly with Tax and Logistics teams, to ensure correct VAT treatment on imports, exports, and intra-community transactions. /liliSupporting the Tax function in analyzing customs-related data for indirect tax reporting and reconciliation. /liliEnsuring proper documentation retention for VAT compliance in intra-community exchanges.
