What You'll Do
* Plan and implement a diverse curriculum of recreational, educational, and team-building activities.
* Provide direct supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of all children enrolled in the program.
* Lead and mentor assistant teachers, camp counselors, and volunteers.
* Maintain a clean, organized,



and welcoming classroom and recreational environment.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular updates and professional communication. Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with school-age children in a licensed childcare, camp, or school setting.
* Ability to pass all background checks and fingerprinting required by Virginia licensing standards.
* Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them before starting.
* Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Nice To Haves
* Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to assist with student transportation.
* Previous experience planning summer camp itineraries or large-group events.
