Overview

In this role, you provide technical expertise and application support for Alfa Laval solutions, acting as a key contact between customers, Sales teams and internal stakeholders. You support customer projects and identify suitable technical solutions to drive growth through value-driven support. You collaborate across teams to tailor offerings, deliver training, and ensure reliable, energy-efficient outcomes. You help shape winning proposals and foster long-term customer relationships.

Responsabilità

- Participate in customer projects, meetings, site visits, and technical discussions to deliver tailored product presentations
- Provide technical consultancy and application support to optimize processes, performance, and energy efficiency
- Support quotation and proposal processes, including technical specs, product selection, sizing and solution configuration
- Act as product champion during launches, campaigns, and commercial initiatives
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive technical support and collaboration
- Provide expertise to customers, partners, and internal teams via training sessions and workshops
- Work with Sales, Service, Engineering and Product Management to identify customer needs and develop customized solutions
- Support troubleshooting activities and contribute to timely resolution of issues




- Monitor market trends and feedback to inform product and application improvements
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and guidelines to support commercial and operational activities
- Identify upselling opportunities and promote value-added services while ensuring compliance with standards

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical background
- Previous experience in technical support or product/application engineering is a plus
- Knowledge of industrial processes and thermal/hygienic fluid handling applications preferred
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Customer-oriented mindset and proactive approach
- Ability to manage multiple activities in a dynamic environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and technical documentation management
- Fluent in Italian and good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Availability to travel for customer visits and activities
