You will define and execute the local underwriting strategy, strengthen our market presence, build long-term relationships across the industry, and develop a high-performing team while contributing to the broader ambitions of Munich Re Specialty across Europe. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the development and growth of Munich Re Specialty's Property Engineering business in Italy. /li liDefine and execute the local underwriting and business strategy, aligned with regional and global objectives. /li liOriginate, negotiate and underwrite complex Property Engineering risks within delegated authority. /li liBuild and strengthen strategic relationships with brokers, clients, MGAs and other key market stakeholders. /li liIdentify emerging market trends, opportunities and risks to support business growth and maintain a competitive market position. /li liRecruit, mentor and lead a high-performing underwriting team, fostering technical excellence, innovation and collaboration. /li liWork closely with underwriting, claims, legal, compliance and finance colleagues to deliver exceptional client service and sustainable long-term growth.
