A leading multinational company specializing in the design and manufacture of high-speed milling systems, 5-axis machine tools, CNC controls, and proprietary software is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the US market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the company's business in the United States, in line with the Group's growth and market positioning objectives. In collaboration with the Sales Director, they will contribute to defining sales strategies aimed at strengthening the brand's market presence and achieving revenue and profitability targets. They will manage complex customer relationships and commercial negotiations, leveraging their understanding of manufacturing processes and the application potential of the company's products. They will support customers throughout the decision-making process by anticipating their needs, guiding them in evaluating alternatives and demonstrating return on investment. The role will also involve organizing regular internal meetings to review performance, monitor progress and share results, supporting the achievement of sales targets while identifying and evaluating business opportunities in the market. The successful candidate will contribute to sales growth and strengthen the company's market positioning, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop sales strategies for the US market in collaboration with the Sales Director, focusing on improving customers' manufacturing performance;
- Oversee pricing strategy and market positioning, directly managing major negotiations with strategic customers and key accounts;
- Increase sales by expanding the number of machines sold and the value of individual orders, highlighting the capabilities and benefits of the company's product range;
- Monitor sales performance through KPIs,



manage sales forecasts and identify corrective actions to achieve established targets;
- Analyze customers' manufacturing processes to identify customized technical solutions, overseeing quotations from both a commercial and technological perspective;
- Work closely with Sales Engineering on technical assessments, feasibility studies, cycle time analysis and the development of turnkey solutions;
- Build long-term customer relationships by monitoring post-sales performance and proposing technological upgrades and further development opportunities in collaboration with the Service Department, including upgrades, retrofits and production line extensions;
- Conduct competitive benchmarking to maintain a competitive advantage and highlight the quality, innovation and reliability of the company's systems;
- Implement marketing initiatives designed to differentiate the company's offering from competitors, emphasizing product quality, innovation and reliability;
- Prepare regular reports on commercial activities and results, providing visibility on sales performance and progress toward established targets.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in the direct sales of technologically advanced machine tools, including customized solutions and projects;
- Strong technical knowledge of metal cutting processes and high-speed milling systems;
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites throughout the United States.

Location: Michigan, USA

Compensation & Benefits: Competitive annual base salary of $100,000–$110,000, plus a substantial performance-based premio and a comprehensive benefits package.
