Rome / Hybrid / Remote Contract : Permanent (Metalworking National Collective Bargaining Agreement) Seniority : Intermediate (2-5 years of experience) Role Description Key2 is seeking an intermediate data scientist for an ICT project with a strong focus on software development , data pipeline management , and the integration of predictive models into production environments. The candidate will work closely with the development and data engineering team to create scalable data-driven solutions. Main activities Develop and expose machine learning models within microservices or applications Build data processing pipelines in cloud and on-premise environments Work with large volumes of data (batch and streaming) Collaborate on the production of end-to-end AI solutions Monitor and maintain models and pipelines with automation logic Technical skills required Excellent command of Python , with a focus on ML/AI libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, tensorflow, pytorch, Fast API) Experience in developing RESTful APIs for exposing models Solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling Experience with Docker , virtualized environments, and versioning tools (Git)



Ability to work with Linux environments and shell scripting Nice to have Experience with MLOps framework Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) Experience with data warehouses and distributed systems Basic knowledge of CI/CD and deployment in containerized environments Experience integrating with external systems (messaging, No SQL databases, external APIs) Soft skills Autonomy in the development and technical management of projects Ability to collaborate with software development teams Production-oriented mindset, scalability and maintenance Ability to propose practical, robust and safe solutions
