In this role, you will design and deliver HVAC and utilities solutions for data centers within our Mechanical Department in Italy. You will collaborate with engineers and designers, conduct site investigations, liaise with clients and vendors, and produce design and construction documentation. You’ll ensure timely, high-quality outcomes while aligning with project scope, budget, and schedule. The position offers growth through multidisciplinary collaboration and exposure to challenging energy systems design.

Responsabilità
- Layout and design HVAC & Utilities systems for data centers and industrial facilities
- Develop design criteria for HVAC & Utilities systems
- Perform calculations for sizing and equipment selection; create AF&IDs; and P&IDs;
- Produce final design documents including specifications, sequences of operation, ducting/piping layouts
- Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders; field investigations and client/vendor liaison
- Ensure timely delivery and technical quality of engineering assignments; support project scope,
budget, and schedule
- Possibly contribute to general arrangements and conceptual/preliminary design documents
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering
- 2–4 years of experience in HVAC & Utilities design
- Experience in DC and industrial facilities is a plus
- Knowledge of national and international codes (ASHRAE, Energy and Sustainability codes, ISO, GMP, NFPA)
- Design software for heating/cooling loads and energy modeling (IES, HAP Carrier, Trane Trace 700)
- CFD analysis experience is a plus
- Revit MEP basic knowledge; collaborative platforms (BIM360, ACC, Naviswork, Revizto) are a plus
- Basic knowledge of BMS & Control Systems; Testing and Commissioning experience is a plus
- Fluency in English and Italian; willingness to travel nationally and internationally
