About this vacancy

The activities will concern the full development of eDrive systems (electric motor, inverter, and e-auxiliaries), working in an international and highly innovative context in the automotive/electrification sector.

The search is focused on different profiles, including:

- Design Release Engineer
- Mechanical Design Engineer
- Electrical Engineer
- Virtual Design Engineer
- Validation Engineer

Depending on the role, you will have the following responsibilities:

- Contribute to the entire lifecycle of the eDrive system: requirements definition, design, simulation, and validation.
- Develop and optimize electrical and mechanical components (motor, inverter, cooling systems, structures) ensuring performance and reliability.
- Perform multi-physics simulations (FEA, CFD, EMAG, NVH) and correlate models with experimental data.
- Define and manage validation activities (DVP&R;, functional, environmental, and durability testing) and support test benches and prototypes.
- Interface with suppliers and cross-functional teams (system, manufacturing, validation) ensuring project convergence and industrialization.

What we expect from you

- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Automotive Engineering or related fields
- At least 3+ years of experience in eDrive / electric powertrain
- Knowledge of eDrive systems: electric motors, inverters, power electronics
- Experience with validation processes, FMEA, and testing/validation




- Skills in mechanical and/or electrical design and system integration
- Experience with simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, Hypermesh, MotorCAD, CFD)
- Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and/or Python for modeling and analysis
- Familiarity with CAD/PLM (e.g., Creo, Teamcenter)
- Knowledge of embedded architectures and communication protocols like CAN and LIN
- Understanding of high voltage (HV) systems, automotive regulations, and industrialization processes
- Excellent knowledge of Italian and English

What you can expect from us

The position involves a permanent contract, and the gross annual salary (RAL) base offered will not be less than €35,000, in line with the provisions established by the CCNL Commercio – Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.

TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package and, upon concluding the selection process by assessing the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, may propose a final RAL above the level mentioned above.

In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a direct profit sharing component from project earnings, an individual skills development budget of €4,000 net per year, and annual welfare credit. Additional details will be provided during the selection process, in compliance with the company policies in force.
